When it comes to things to see and do in Cornwall, you are very much spoilt for choice. However, Trebah Gardens definitely qualifies as one of the best attractions. It’s a little piece of subtropical paradise, located near Falmouth.
Although Trebah Gardens is beautiful all year round and changes with the seasons, experiencing it during the spring / summer months when it comes into bloom is unbeatable. At every glance there are vivid flowers in a spectrum of different colours – it’s a feast for the eyes.
With more than 4 miles of footpath, you can easily spend hours exploring Trebah.
A sea of blue, pink and purple hydrangeas surround the beautiful Mallard Pond and resemble a Monet painting.
Once you reach the end of Trebah’s garden valley, you come to a private beach that looks out over the Helford River. It’s a perfect place to skim some stones and sprawl out on the sand.
