It’s very often the case that you happen upon the most incredible things when you least expect to.  Discovering Tegg’s Nose Country Park was one of those occasions.  In search of a breath of fresh air and somewhere to stretch our legs, we decided to head over to Cheshire…

Located just off the Peak District National Park, its rolling hills and unique undulating landscape was a sight to behold.  It’s like British countryside at its finest.  It absolutely knocked our socks off.

It was one of the most delightful walks that I’ve been on for some time.  What’s more, we saw it in the most incredible light.  It was at dusk when the sun was low in the sky, creating the softest, warm light which illuminated the incredible landscape.

We rounded off our walk around Tegg’s Nose with dinner at the most delightful country pub, the Cock & Pheasant in Bollington.  It had the best vegan menu that I’ve seen in any country pub, plus and extensive array of vegan puddings too!
